Q:   My ex employers are trying to stop my Cobra coverage. I do not believe I have reached my 18 month coverage. How can I find out how long I have been paying in for Cobra?

A:  You can call your insurance company.  There should be a customer service phone number on the back of your ID card.  They will be able to confirm when you COBRA started. If you have lost your opportunity for insurance with your past employer and are looking for a short term medical policy you may qualify for an Alternative policy.
