Q:  How many hours a month would be considered "reduced hours" ? We work in the construction industry and work is always not available do to weather conditions.

A:  Usually  group benefits are available to an employee that works a specific number of hours each week.  The amount of hours that you must  work to receive group will vary based on the employer's group plan requirements.  When your hours are reduced and you lose the group benefits because you don't work enough hours to met the
