Q: I am looking for a provider for Accutane in Sacramento, CA. Could you please refer me?

A:   COBRA is NOT an insurance company.  COBRA is a federal law that requires an employer to offer the employee continuation of their group health plan when a qualifying event occurs.  Since, COBRA is a continuation of a group health plan; you will be able to use the same doctors you had prior to the qualifying event.  You need to contact your previous employer’s benefits manager for a list of participating providers.  You can also contact the insurance company by calling the phone number on your ID card and they will tell you the names of providers that you can see.
