Q: Does COBRA cover Mircette or Karva? If so, how much and what info do I need to provide to the Pharmacy? How do I get reimbursed?

A:  COBRA is a continuation of your previous employers' group health plan including prescription drugs.  Since this is a continuation of the health insurance you had when you were employed you will be using the same providers and same pharmacies.   You can use the ID card that you had prior to the COBRA qualifying event.  If you had to pay for a prescription out of pocket during your election period, you can submit the receipts to the insurance company for reimbursement.  You will need to call your insurance company and they will give you their reimbursement procedures.
