Q:  I need temporary coverage for 44days. In the 44 days my wife will be due a Pap smear, and birth control as a follow-up to an 18 fib birth. My son will be due vaccination for a newborn too. Does cobra cover this??

A:  COBRA is a continuation of an employer’s group plan.  It’s the same benefits, same coverage that you had before the qualifying event.  There is a phone number on your insurance ID card that you can call for benefit information.
